Weeks 26 & 27 and so long 2nd trimester!

Here's the deal. Got an iPhone and cannot figure out how to get those pics on this blog...hence the lack of posts.  Me need technology help. :)  Ha, let's get real...I need a lot of help, in a lot of areas but not enough time to go into that level of detail today...

Anywho.  I've grown A LOT over the past couple weeks.  I don't know if all the delicious food from Thanksgiving triggered a growth spurt or what...but wow!

SEE!  Look how MUCH bigger I am!  Whoa right!?!

So pregnancy has been going swell.  The 2nd trimester was amazing, especially compared to the 1st. I was energetic and just felt like my old self again!  I've read that the 3rd trimester becomes more challenging with exhaustion, restlessness, feeling overwhelmed, etc.  I am not looking forward to any of that...IF any of that occurs....but I am looking forward to getting closer to meeting our son.  And I am determined to prove those preggo books wrong about 3rd trimester! :)

And is it JUST me or is everyone freakin' pregnant right now?  Every time I turn on the tube, a new famous person is pregnant.  Every time I get on Facebook to stalk people, I see more and more are pregnant.  What's triggering this baby boom?  I guess I'm not the only one that got that 'your not gettin' any younger sweet heart' talk from their doctor.  And my reply to the doctor you ask?  Not everyone wants to be 16 and pregnant.  Gosh!  What?  I'm not that much older than 16 people!!!

So what else...well, Christmas is just a few weeks away!  We put our tree up right after Thanksgiving...and it's a shortie.  Drew and I won't be in Raleigh so we decided to keep the tree simple this year.  Here she is....

Isn't she lovely?!  Rigghhhtttt....well, there's always next year. :)  Last year we were in Mexico for Christmas...oh how I (and my pale skin) would love a trip to Mexico this year.  I am headed to NYC in a few days for what I'm calling a "babymoon".  Drew is calling it work.  Probably b/c he's going there for work.  I'm going there to find coffee, candy, staircase from Sex & The City, eat pizza, walk crazy miles exploring the city, run around Central Park, and party at the hottest clubs!  Okay, that last one's a total joke...I don't do 'clubs'!  Okay, okay, relax!  I'm not partying either!  You guuyysss....silly!

Well, I hate to end my update with a disappointment BUT Drew and I are not sending Christmas cards out this year.  Why?  Perhaps this will explain it...

(Note: My green jacket is supposed to look like an elf.  Nala is Santa. Just not in the cards this year...)
