Ellington - 15 months

Precious little Ellie is 15 months....it seems like yesterday she was born so I am in shock when I stop to think what month she is. Ellie is the perfect balance of sweet and sass. She's definitely a happy baby - always smiling and laughing. I asked Drew to shout out key words to describe Elle and he said: "I'm terrible with adjectives. She's (long pause...) strong, stubborn, playful, good sense of humor, obviously independent, and cheerful." And I agree. She is just so loving too --- people LOVE El Belle. How can you not - look at that face?!?

Here's the rundown:

  • Weight: 22.6 pounds (50-75%)
  • Height: 31 inches (50-75%)
  • Head Circumference: 47 cm (75-90%)
  • Food: Everything. Seriously.
  • Words: Mama, Dada, ball (ba-alllll), shoes (shuzzzzz), nose (no...and points to nose), no (and shakes her head no), dog (and says it every time she sees one!)
  • Travel: Nowhere and not anytime soon with Levi's treatment
  • Daycare: Ellie LOVES her teachers Caroline, Jolene, and Tory. She really enjoys school which makes me happy! Her teachers have been giving her extra hugs and kisses since Levi's diagnosis.
  • Toys: Enjoys pushing the shopping cart and stroller around still, stacking cups, plasticware
  • Other: Loves to dance, watch Mickey Mouse, hates shopping or sitting in shopping carts, loves to pull her Mommy's hair, hates being in her car seat still. Loves wearing a pair of Freshly Picked moccasins that my Mom bought her! Loves taking a bath too!
Ellie, you are a dream come true! You really keep us smiling and laughing during this rough time. Levi adores you and it's obvious you feel the same way. Never change --- you are so perfect just as you are. We LOVE you oh so very much!
