Levi - Weeks 2 & 3

I missed my Week 2 and 3 deadline!  Sorry!  I never would have thought taking care of a newborn all day could be so demanding.  And I've made a decision.  I am going to write an instructions manual for babies.  People keep telling me 'they don't come with manuals' - well they should and I'd be happy to write it.  Because newborns are no joke. They are like A-List celebs insisting on the best service.  When Levi wants to eat - he wants to eat!  There's no "okay, give me 5 minutes....".  When he needs a diaper change - he wants it changed!  There's no "okay, I'll get that in a few minutes".....umm....no.  He wants what he wants, when he wants it.  He really reminds me of someone I know...wonder who?  I should ask my Mom if that sounds familiar... ;)

Anyways, in all seriousness, these past few weeks have been the hardest, most rewarding weeks of my life.    Levi is a slice of heaven on Earth.  I just stare at him all the time.  He is perfect in my eyes.  We love him to pieces.  Absolutely love him.  And every day I thank God for him...and I also pray that when Levi turns 13 years old he won't hate me or do anything bad. What?  It's never too early.  Those of you who've had teenagers know it's true!  :)

In addition to ALL of the above, Levi has been gRoWiNg!  He went from 6 lbs 14 ozs to 8 lbs 5 ozs!  Woohoo!  I was so proud of Levi - he's a healthy and happy baby!  What more could a new Mommy hope for?!

I'm off to change a dirty diaper!  Perhaps I'll take a picture of that to share next time!  I kidd...I kidd...maybe.
