This past weekend we had our final shower...hosted by my beautiful sister (in-law) back home. It was perfect. Everything from the theme (nautical - my fav!), to the cake, to the food and most importantly the family/friends was PERFECT. I was especially excited that both of my Grandma's were there. I love them! Anyway, once again I have NO pictures to show. If I can get my hands on some, I'll post them...
Something else exciting - Drew and I attended a hospital tour last night. We toured the labor/delivery room and the nursery (Drew's going to have back pains after sleeping in what they called a "comfortable" reclining chair). REX Hospital, where we're delivering, is on the same page as us...they believe in the baby staying with the Mom/Dad as much as possible and they also believe in 'skin to skin' so my precious baby will be with me when they perform all the testing, etc. This is EXACTLY what we want. So my birth plan will basically be: Make sure my baby boy is safe and healthy. Period. And if all goes well, please have fro'yo waiting for me...vanilla, cookie dough, and raspberry's. I'll hold the baby with my right hand and eat with the left. ;)
Here's a picture of my ever-growing baby belly. Couple things I've noticed recently - my energy is dropping (nothing like the 1st trimester though - thank goodness) and my ankles hurt every once in awhile after I workout. I'm not sure how much running I'll be able to do going forward but I haven't given up...I just HATE ankle pain and I don't want to injure myself. Oh, and Baby V's kicks are getting MUCH stronger and I LOVE IT. Each one.

My mom is coming to town this weekend to help me organize and decorate the nursery so I'm hoping to have pictures for you soon! Fingers crossed all goes well!
