Growwwwiiinnngggggg! Week 24

Week 24 has arrived!  Not much new happening around here.  I'm still feeling good at this point.  I've got the back pain under control thanks to my new heating pad (thanks babe).  Joe, Drew's little brother, came by Saturday night and I was curled up on the couch with my heating pad and hot chocolate.  Seriously, I know my birthday is next week but am I turning 33 or 73?  Joe's thinking 73 after witnessing that.  Pregnancy makes me lame.  But that's great for Baby Boy "V" - he's getting all my attention and focus so that he grows strong and healthy! And I know this b/c his kicks are getting stronger!  Love!!!

I feel very blessed to have such a great pregnancy so far.  Do you think this means I'll have a difficult time once he's here to make up for it?  Say around his teenage years...hmm....I'll worry about that later....for now, I'm grateful!!
I have to show you this....our small stash of clothes!  Now some of you that know me are probably wondering why I haven't done more shopping.  Well, one thing that Drew and I both agree on is 1) Babies don't need designer clothes 2) Babies grow out of clothes fast 3) Babies throw up, spit up, mess up a lot 4) Friends and family love to shop for babies!  So, all that said, we're trying to hold off on purchasing too much before our shower and we're also keeping our eyes open for great deals!  For example, everything in this closet so far was under $7 each!  Listen to me - I'm sounding like a grown-up! :)  (P.S. Mom, if you're reading this, feel free to buy designer clothes for the baby...and me.)

And check this out!  His favorite blankie!  He is going to LOVE this!  From what I have experienced, boys love their blankies.  Someone I spend a lot of time with....I won't mention any names but he's really awesome and has brown hair and lives with me and we share a last name....still has his blankie and uses it daily.   This "person" insists our Baby Boy "V" have an awesome blankie and now we do thanks to my bestie KATIE!  Thanks Katie!  I'll send you pictures when he's in college studying wrapped up in this blankie.  :)
And one more...my baby Syms.  And yes, I love Nala!  She's VERY hard to capture on camera.  She says the lighting is never right....little drama queen! :)
Much love,

The Vetter's
