Week 22...Prepare Yourself

I'm just going to give it to you straight...

My shirts won't even cover it anymore!  It's that big!  I guess this means Baby "V" is growing strong!  Every week I wake up BIGGER.  Is it appropriate to wear baby tee's when you pregnant? Actually, is it appropriate ever?  I think not.

40 - 22 = 18 weeks  18 weeks = ~ 4 months  4 months = AGGHHH!!!  That's not far off!  I don't even have an outfit to bring him home in yet!  This is why we all have Mommy's.  Thank goodness Drew & I both have Mom's with a ton of baby experience.  Except my Mom will have her hands full with 2 babies - me and Baby "V".  Bless her.

Speaking of my Mom....back in the day, I wonder if she ever laid in bed when she was pregnant with me dreaming about what I'd look like and all the Mother/Daughter times we'd share....I lay in bed and dream about this little one all the time.  I imagine him running around, laughing, playing, swimming at the beach - my heart melts thinking about it.  Then I start thinking about my Mom again....and all the stuff she's put up with....specifically during the ages of 13 - 21...make that 29.  Was I worth all the sleepless nights? Draining their bank account?  The gray hairs?  The hours she spent watching me CHEER?  The whining and crying and complaining?  BUT then I think about our perfectly imperfect relationship and how it's one that only she and I share.  She'd DO ANYTHING for me.  She loves me so much and I love her even more.  So - DUH!  Of COURSE it's worth it.  God is giving me the opportunity to BE THAT SOMEONE...and that's a blessing.  So....D U H! :)  (Love you Mom!)

Here's a couple more pics....

Last night Drew and I went to dinner to CELEBRATE his AMAZING accomplishment.  He's officially Mr. Andrew Vetter, CAIA (Chartered Alternative Investments Analyst).  He worked HIS BUTT off the past year for those 4 letters and I'm so proud of him.  I've said it before and I'll say it again - hope this lil' guy gets his brains! :)  CONGRATS to my husband that I love more than anything.

And I have to share this....this is what I see when I look DOWN.  It seems so much bigger from this angle than any other!  Good thing I work from home, otherwise that would've been an inappropriate picture to take during office hours....but I would've done it....just for you! ;)

Love to all,

The Vetter's!

I love reading other's pregnancy posts! You are just a few weeks behind me! Looks like we are both having February babies! I can totally relate to laying in bed dreaming of what my baby girl will be like. I actually get teary eyed thinking of hearing her little voice for the first time! I'm so curious as to what it will sound like! We're lucky we have the holidays coming up to distract us from being pregnant! I hoping time flies from Thanksgiving until the new year!
