20 going on 21...weeks

So, what have you been doing to pass the time since I haven't been around to post and fill your days with love and laughter?  Hmm....where were you?  What'cha been reading?  Cheater! haha! Just kidding...relax. So Wells Fargo actually felt the need to make me WORK last week and sent me to Minneapolis, MN where I think I clocked about 70 hours.  So, that my friend, left no time for you or me.

But that was soooooo yesterday!  So let's see, what's been going on that doesn't involve mortgages....oh, well here are some 20 week photos....

20 Weeks
See the little bump...that's our precious boy growing!

Something cool that happened at 20 weeks - I felt Baby Boy "V" kick and/or punch me!  This is the only time in his life I'll think it's cute to hit/punch his Mother...Mommy...without being punished.  So enjoy little one....enjoy.... :)  And please kick my butt daily because I love to feel you move!

21 Weeks
Definitely a growing baby boy in that belly!  I have to admit, I'm feeling pretty good lately.  I have my moments...but that's normal....for me. :)

The one thing I am struggling with is....how the heck this belly is going to GROW and STRETCH like I see in pictures?  I already feel big enough!  And this is NOTHING.  I am seriously concerned that my skin will never go back to some form of normalcy after this is all said and done.  Regardless of what happens, I am sure the wear and tear will be worth seeing that little precious baby.  (Makes me smile just thinking about him!)

So I am still able to run at this point....at a s-l-o-w pace. But if you know me, that's nothing new.  I've always been proud of my amazing (slow) running times.  I took this picture after a 4 mile run.
Don't ask me about the hand placement in the picture above...as you recall from my previous post, I hate belly buttons and the fact that I'm doing everything but POINTING directly to it in this pic is beyond me.  Syms asked if he can go for a swim in my 'pool' of a belly button.  Eww!

As you know, I am married to the most amazing man alive.  Here's a picture of his hottness for fun:

(This was from a couple months ago...but I felt we should all enjoy this one together.)

LOVE YOU DREW.

I hope our little one looks just like you.  And I hope he has your heart.  And I hope he has your math skills.  And I hope he has your smile.  And I hope he has my sense of humor.  And I hope he has your awesome hair.  And I hope he loves us as much as we love him!

And here we are at a wedding we attended this past weekend...the happy parents-to-be!!!!

And for the record, this little guy below is sick.  He's been 'dropping it like it's hot' all day. ALL DAY long.  SMELLY SMELLY Symba!  And thanks to our dogs, Drew and I feel like we've got some great parenting hours under our belt.  For example, Syms was throwing up Sunday night - so we got up 5 times from slumber sleep to take care of him.  It may have taken a couple of pillows to Drew's head but he eventually came around and helped wipe up dog yack and tuck Syms back to bed.  Meanwhile I was trying NOT to throw up myself from the looks and smells of the scene.  Parenting 101 - passed with an "A".  Bring it on Parenting 102!

Peace & Love,

The Vetter's
