It's a... B O Y!!!

BOY!

A little baby boy who will probably grow up to love dirt, football, hockey, injuries, insects, anything and all things icky.....but that's okay, because we will be there to love him and wash his hands and cheer him on!  I don't even understand boys yet!  I guess this little baby bundle of love will teach me everything I need to know...and more than I probably will want to know.

(How cute is he?! He's not allowed to play football or anything that requires helmets. I'm sure I'll come up with some more 'rules' before he arrives...)

Back to our baby boy announcement, when Drew heard the tech say 'It's a boy!' he immediately threw his arms in the arm - the same way he does when the Eagles score the winning touchdown.  At that moment, I new his was a proud Daddy.  I thought I would cry - being the emotional drama mama that I am lately - but I was SO THRILLED that I just smiled the ENTIRE time.  He is HEALTHY!  And very ACTIVE!  He looks A-MAZ-ING! :)  The best news! And it was so great to see him actually LOOK like a baby and not a small, teeny little peanut!

The best times of my life are always with Drew (like you don't already know this right).  Engagement, wedding, and now a baby boy (obviously I don't have enough time for everything so I listed the BEST of the BEST).  I love you Drew - more and more every second, non-stop.  I am so excited for all the memories we're going to make with this little guy!

Oh, and Syms wants you all to know he cannot wait to have a new buddy to play fetch with.  :)

Here's a pic of me at 18 weeks.  Belly is popping out!  This was 2 days ago and I feel like I am so much bigger already!
Thanks to all our family and friends for support!  We love you all and know that you're gonna love this little creation of ours! :)  Oh, and a special thanks to those girlfriends of mine that I bug on a daily basis for an explanation on what the heck is happening with my body and this little baby BOY! :)

I'm off to study up on football and insects!  (YEAH RIGHT - I've got some online shopping to do!)

We can't wait to meet him next summer at the beach! He'd better get ready for a little posse of girl cousins. They are going to adore him!
