Growin' belly/baby - 16 weeks

I find myself doing this a lot lately....I did this a lot as a kid too....and now, here I am 32 years old and back to my old ways of starring at my big ole belly...
It's gRoWiNg!  I have to admit....I always thought it was so weird when pregnant women rubbed their bellys.  I thought it was kind of gross....b/c that's what I used to associate with eating too much or stomach issues stirring up.  Now, I get it.  I have joined the prego women and also rub da belly.  I like the baby to know I am still here and love him/her....so I a little tap, tap, rub should be reassuring (I hope).    Only ~ 2.5 weeks till we know what's in that belly of mine.  Boy or girl!?  :)

Also, on the homefront, we had some trees cut down and trimmed....something we've been wanting to do since moving in....our house is surrounded by trees (which we love!) but let's face it - too many trees, too many leaves. So....T I M B E R!  Look at our house now - you can actually SEE it from the street!
And I'll finish this post with this....family is priceless.  I love my family and Drew's family so much.  I am blessed beyond comprehension by what God's given me/us.  This lil' Baby "V" melts my heart - I am so in love and so is our entire family.  Love is so fulfilling, isn't it!?  Here's a picture from this weekend when Elizabeth was in town for Hopscotch (music festival here in Raleigh)....

P.S. How obvious is it that I am not related to these 3? :)
P.S.S. How cool is Joe?  Look at that face!  He's going to be one cool Uncle!  And not a weird one! ha!
