Being a Mom is hard work - mentally and physically. When I said to Drew - let's start a family! I had no clue what I was saying...imagine if you read the following posting for a position:

The minimum requirements for this position include the following:

- Hours: 24/7 with limited to no vacation time
- Must gain at least 25 pds and then lose it...fast
- On-call every night, all night
- May require surgery
- Expect to cry...a lot
- No sick days...ever

- Will cause permanent wrinkles and grey hair
- Be prepared to use your own finances to cover any and all expenses
- Ability to multi-task at all times while carrying 25-30 pds
- No compensation...ever
- Physical and mental exhaustion is normal
- Absurd and unusual fears will overtake your mind...forever

But then at the bottom of the posting there would be a little note...

Note: While this position is draining in all ways (physically and mentally), you will experience a love like none other. You will have no problem waking up at 3 am on back to back nights because there's a little one who needs you - and only you. And fears may seem overwhelming but it's because you cannot imagine anything happening to this little one who you oversee. Yes, the monetary pay is lacking; however you'll be rich in a way you never imagined possible. While your body may change and never be the same again, it's empowering that your body can do the unimaginable. Every second of your life will change from the moment you accept this position but we guarantee you'll never quit.

For me, it only took that little pink line...the one in the pregnancy test. It was Father's Day 2011 when I saw my first little pink line....I didn't know what struggles were ahead....and it didn't matter....I had already accepted. And I wouldn't change a thing.

Thanks to my littles for making me a Mommy. It's the most important role I'll ever have and I never want to let you down.
