Since Levi's diagnosis, we've been forced to
live in the present - taking life one day at a time. It's difficult to make plans because we don't know how Levi will be feeling and each phase of treatment has different medicines and protocols so you never know what to expect. Looking too far ahead feels overwhelming when the overall treatment plan is 3.5 years long. And while I am proud of how well Levi is handling everything, we're happy to leave the past behind us...which leaves us really putting our energy into the present. The here and now....which has surprisingly been a great place to be...
