We have been a busy household! Levi is doing well lately so we're just enjoying this time...especially since we really don't know what to expect day to day. I'll provide an update on Levi once we get his new counts tomorrow. We head to the clinic for his chemo so prayers are appreciated.
A couple Saturdays ago, a friend (Emily) came to town and took Christmas pictures for us (her treat)! She's so thoughtful...a huge heart and Levi adored her! He doesn't always cooperate when the camera comes out but he just really liked smiling at pretty Emily!
I also had girlfriends from the college years come to visit! Leah flew in from Chicago, Kristen drove in from Asheville, Katie from Greensboro, and Audrey from Raleigh! We had the best time laughing and enjoying each others company --- girlfriends are good for the soul, right?!
And this past Tuesday was my 37th birthday! My sweet family spoiled me with love and Elizabeth stayed with the kids for a couple hours after work so we could sneak away and have a quick date night. Drew took me to RuRu's Tacos - it was pretty good. I cannot wait to go back and sit outside on the patio!
This weekend we're planning to have a staycation Saturday/Sunday! Our wonderful parents are helping with the kids so we can just getaway and reconnect -- very important to both Drew and I. As you can imagine we're very excited!
