Levi turns 3!

Levi - you are a brilliant, happy, energetic, healthy little boy!

I actually typed 'baby' and then deleted it...because you're officially a big boy and no longer a baby. You are growing up so fast and I am so excited for you!

You are learning new words and finding new ways to express yourself and loving life. This makes me so happy, but it's also hard because on your birthday I think about the little boy that I held for the first time in my arms. The little boy that made me a Mommy and taught me what REAL HARD CORE love is.

You are funny too. You crack us up daily! I love how you say 'cones' - you really drag that word out! And you love any and all things trucks...every day (seriously) you are excited to see the trucks working on the way to daycare.

Sometimes I hear you talking to yourself in your room at night...I don't know exactly what you're saying but I sit outside your door and listen because I love your voice.

And you love Ellie. You kiss her cheeks hard...sometimes a little too hard...but just because you love her.

Did I mention how much you LOVE hanging with your Daddy? OOOHHHHHH you love to shoot hoops with Dad. You follow him around like a little shadow----that melts me. There's nothing a Mommy wants more for her child than a good Daddy...and you have a good one, little Levi.

Oh, you crack me up in the car --- you point out everything when we drive together "That car like MawMaw's" "They working Mommy" "Look Mommy - he walk the dog" -- the list goes on. You talk A LOT. And I love it. A LOT.

I hope you enjoyed your 3 year old party! We kept it small - just our immediate family...and you got totally spoiled. And yes, you did have a dump truck cake...and it was good!!!!!!!!  We love you and we're so proud of you Levi. You are our WORLD.

Always be YOU. You are absolutely, without a doubt, a gift to this world.

Love

Mommy-Ahh (You call me that now... heeeheee!)
