Levi Update - 2 years and 4 months

I haven't shared a Levi update in a long time so here we go!

Words: What is he not saying these days is easier?!  He talks ALL the time!  Recently, we went on a stroller ride and he called out any and everything he saw -- for the entire hour!  It was so funny!  And Levi will copy any and everything you say (careful what you say around him these days).  Recently, we were leaving the beach and he surprised us and said 'Love you beach' - melted my heart.  Love you Mommy, Love you Daddy are our favorites of course.

Foods: Not much has changed in this department.  He enjoys chicken fingers (some days), mac'n'cheese (most days), pancakes (every day), fruit - especially blueberries and bananas, snacks which means gummy treats, popcorn, yogurt...and CHEESE.  He can put down some cheese (like his Mommy and Daddy)!

Toys: My Mom bought Levi a basketball recently and he is obsessed with dribbling.  He needs practice but he's getting better...that has to be a difficult one for a two year old! He still loves his trucks - any and all of them.  He especially loves his 'four wheeler' which is designed for little tikes so no concern there. :)  And tools - he loves to 'fix' things around the house like his Daddy.  It's very cute to see Drew hammering something then Levi grabs his hammer to copy Dad.  Precious!

School: Levi just moved up to a new class at daycare which normally makes me anxious but he moved with his buddies Zack and Jamie so that's comforting and made the transition much easier for Levi.  He really seems to enjoy daycare...he was going through a phase where he cried and held on to me daily when I dropped him off but that stopped recently (thank goodness - that was VERY hard to watch).  They do a lot of art, reading, playtime, etc -- so far, I really enjoy his teachers and school.  Levi enjoys the ride down Rea Rd thanks to the construction taking place --- personally, I hope it takes some time... I don't know what we'll do when crane truck, digger, and dump truck are gone - some days that's the only way I can convince him to get into the car! :)

Places: No big trips this year with baby #2 arriving any day.....but we did join the pool in our neighborhood and Levi loves it!  He is so happy when he's splashing in the water, especially if Daddy's playing with him.  I am so glad we were able to join - it's so rewarding seeing the biggest smile on your child's face.  I cannot wait to watch him learn how to swim and make new friends around the neighborhood!

Bedtime: Levi has about 7-8 books he insists on taking to bed with him (BTW we transitioned him to a 'big boy' bed about 2-3 months ago with little to no issues - whew)...after 'we' read most books, Levi will tuck them under the sheets.  In addition, he has about 5-6 tools and a soccer ball scattered around his bed as well.  There's barely room for Levi when we tuck him in but hey, he's happy and somehow sleeps well that way - all that matters!  Bedtime is roughly 8:00 pm.

Weight/Height: I really have no clue...but he before he moved to his new classroom he was the biggest (not the oldest) in his class.  I would guess he's pretty average (minus the head of course) but we haven't been to the doctor in awhile.

And now the pictures!
