Busy? Yes!

Hi again from HOT and HUMID NC!  Sorry for the lack of posts lately...Drew and I haven't been doing much around the house...because we've been spending our weekend with our family and friends!  We're so blessed!

Easter
We spent Easter with my family.  Here we are piled into the pontoon boat at the lake.  Lucky for you all, we got dressed up for this family photo.  I mean my Dad even pulled out his nicest tank top for it! 

Birthday Dinner
I spent a fun night out with this lil' lady to celebrate her '22nd' birthday....rriiigggghhhhttttt.  We had a great conversation about how much we've grown up in the past year....one day we may actually act our age...riiigggghhhhhttt again.  Chipper's getting married next year and I was selected out of many girls to play the role as Bridesmaid. I cannot wait to work the crowd! :)  Just kidding Chipper...kind'of.

Notice Chipper's b-day cake...she managed to eat every last bite as I watched in amazement.  I'm not a 'cake' person...I'd rather eat my weight in gummy worms.  Reminds me, I have to get 4 more cavities filled tomorrow....seriously.

Madeline's pre-graduation party

Drew and I attended Madeline's pre-graduation/going away party...even though I was smiling on the outside in this pic...I was crying inside...my yoga partner leaving me....sigh.

Meredith's Birthday Bash in Charlotte
We surprised Drew's Mom for her 60th birthday in Charlotte...all the kids showed up at her front door shouting HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!  When Meredith opened the door I wasn't sure if she was crying because she was so happy to see her kids or because we scared her to death! :)  I love the Vetter clan - always a good time!

BEACH!
Then Drew and I decided to spend some time alone Memorial Day Weekend at the beach....the weather was perfect.

 We walked the beach, went for runs, walked around the block holding hands...okay, we didn't hold hands for long....it was too hot outside and sweaty palms isn't cool.

Here we are before we left the beach....we have on hats because we're burnt!  SPF 45 - not enough for our virgin skin...ahhh summer....

I'm off to put Drew to work around the house...don't worry, we're still 'under construction' here at the Vetter Villa...more updates to come!
