Now, here's what we did....we called Benjamin Moore and asked for some color! We went with Baltic Gray and White Dove on the walls. We had the carpets ripped up - no way I was vacuuming every day b/c of an 80 pound walking hair ball. There were gorgeous pine floors (luckily) in the family room so we had them refinished...and stained special walnut (thanks again Mr. Moore).
Coming Soon!? We want to replace the mantel with an old piece of wood - something rustic looking...let me know if you come across anything. Then remove the old gold fireplace cover and cover it with something...but no idea what yet! Also, we want to get a chandelier with crystals...well, okay that's what I want...we'll see - but really anything other than some silver light built for an incubator! Lots to do....just waiting on our ship to come in...we thought we saw it go by the other day...but it forgot to stop?!
