Ellington Jean (2.5 yrs old update)

Ellington Jean is 2.5 years old and full of energy! She does not sit back in Levi's shadow that's for sure. Here's an update on our baby girl:

• Height: Not sure...
• Weight: Not sure... these are tough questions since she's not due a checkup until 3. Best guess 30/31 pounds but I could be wrong...if I am, it would be more and not less. 
• Eats: Starting to become a little more picky than in the past...Ellie loves the following: avocado, cheese, granola, edamame, yellow peppers w/ranch dressing, yogurt, pancakes, mixed nuts, bananas (usually only at night and not in the morning), bread and butter pickles (at night before bed...seriously)
• Drinks: Orange juice is your favorite, also likes apple juice, milk, and chocolate milk
• Sleep: Bedtime is anywhere from 7:30-8:00 pm (closer to 8 on the weekends) and she's usually the first one up around 6:45-7:00 am; she will stay in her room on the weekends until she hears Levi up or us and then she'll start crying
• Words: Starting to put together sentences - for example we hear 'don't do that levi' and 'get out my room' and 'brush my teeth' and many others! She speaks very clearly with the cutest voice...almost like she's speaking from the back of her throat  
• Toys: Rabbi, Baby Doll (obsessed w/her babies and carries them everywhere!), blanket, yellow cup, yellow boat, yellow plate, yellow ANYTHING, stroller, kitchen, riding the gator with Levi
• Favorite Color: LOVES YELLOW a lot! One night, she ate a banana, mac n cheese, cheese, and corn...on a yellow plate. ha! 
• Daycare: Ellie has formed a very close friendship with her friend Emmie at daycare. They apparently do everything together - like all day long, every day. I didn't know it was possible for 2 year olds to form such tight relationships. But it's very sweet - they are very cute together. Outside of daycare, Ellie also is close with her friends Logan and Mila. She'll move up to the older 2's class in February. 
• Potty: Uses pull-ups, is starting to potty more and more at school...so it's time we work on this at home more. To be honest, Levi was SO easy - he was already potty trained by now and we really didn't do much. I think Ellie will be a little different but we just ordered her big girl panties so we'll see how it goes! 
• Nicknames: Elle Belle, Ellie Jean, Ellie Belly, Elle, Sweetie (Levi's name for her sometimes), Princess Hot Mess (that kinda stuck after Halloween - opps! hahah!) 
• Major Milestones: Paci went bye bye about 3 months ago - Drew told her to throw into the trash that she was a big girl and that's what she did and never looked back - I never thought it would be that easy because she loved that paci! 
• Hair: We love putting that little sprout on top of her head - it's so cute! She'll wear bows but who knows where they'll end up after 30 mins
• Other: Ellie is just a joy - her laugh is pretty dang awesome and she's just a happy girl; she LOVES for me to hold her; her newest obsession is sitting on my lap which means that when I am in the room she either wants me to hold her or she'll sit on me; she and Levi play so well together and Levi takes care of Ellie. Just last weekend, I walked downstairs to the playroom and while watching a movie Levi was rubbing her back (like I do to him!) - it was priceless! She still wants me to hold her when we go to the grocery store...unless Levi's with us and we get the HUGE car buggy (ugh!) but she's an angel when she goes with her Daddy. She's always SO good for him compared to with me!Doesn't matter, she's our heart and we love her dearly!
