The Vetter's: July 12 is #LeviStrong Day :)

Introducing SuperLevi! His magical powers include strength that even the toughest man couldn't compete against, bravery beyond measure, and a killer smile.

Other superheroes throughout the land were so impressed by this tiny fighter, they decided to throw him a super party! The celebration took place on Tuesday, July 12 at Levi's daycare and totally caught our little fighter off guard! First, the Charlotte Ladder 1 Fire Department rolled up in their firetruck with sirens blasting! And boom - bam - pow - the superheroes jumped out! Levi was overwhelmed with excitement and could not believe all of his favorite heroes wanted to celebrate him! Levi's battle is ongoing - it's not a one and done event. It's hard. It's scary. And these superheroes know it...so they showed up and recharged his superpowers so he can continue to fight hard!

What would we do without our community, our friends, our colleagues, and especially our family? Everyone continues to surprise us with their love and support....and it's so reassuring to know that no one has forgotten the battle our little warrior faces daily. I want to send a HUGE thank you to:

Charlotte Ladder 1 Fire Dept....Captain Trey Smith, you and your men are true heroes. You protect our community daily and what you did for Levi was above and beyond your responsibility. Levi feels like he's "one of you" and we cannot wait to continue to be apart of your Ladder 1 family! Thanks for being so thoughtful, so kind, so loving!
Wells Fargo Colleagues...the team in Maryland that do not know Levi, haven't met us, but were simply moved to make a little 4 year old have a memory he'll never forget! I wish the world was filled with selfless people like all of you. Thank you for sending the superheroes out - I know it took a lot of coordinating from another state! I wish you all were there and so glad it was caught on TV for you to see!
Our daycare - my kids family away from family! Thank you (and the families that are at our daycare!) for opening your doors and your hearts to our family...there are no words to tell you all how much it means to me.
Fox News Charlotte - you have shared Levi's story in such a positive light. I want people to see that the money they donate to pediatric cancer is helping - look at Levi! Look how far we've come with blood cancer! Levi's battle is not over - I know we have a long journey ahead BUT Levi's story is filled with love and positive energy and we are grateful that you are helping us to share the bright side of this dark journey. Awareness is so important so thank you for bringing awareness to pediatric cancer like leukemia.
