Ellie - 8 months

I am long overdue for an update on Ellington. I think the last update was when she was 6 months and she's grown so much since then. Here's the run-down!

Weight: 17 pds

Clothes: Size 9 mos. but soon she'll be in 12 mos!

Height, Weight, Head Size Percentiles: Average, except she's in the 90th for height (but she doesn't look long/tall at all!)

Sleep: Wakes up at 6:30 am, bedtime at 7:30 pm, typically wakes up 1-2 times per night but we only get up once to feed her. When she wakes around 6 am we put her in the bed with us to cuddle...and hopefully fall back to sleep. :)

Eats: 6 oz bottles (avg of 30+ oz/day), yogurt for breakfast, pouches for lunch and dinner, starting to introduce finger foods such as puffs, bites of bananas

Words: Mama (more like Mamamamamama....), Dada -- not much more

Development: Crawling!!!! Pulling up, and now she's working on standing!!

Daycare: Loves her teachers! But we were informed this past month that the daycare is closing...so we have to change daycares in June. I am so sad...Ellie (and Levi) love their friends and teachers --- it's going to be an adjustment.

Trips: Stayed at Nana's house for 4 nights while Drew & I vacationed in St. Thomas (of course timing was perfect -- it's when she had her stomach virus).

Sick: Came down with a stomach virus --- threw up twice and diarrhea, also had a bad cough/cold

Other: Waves like Miss America, smiles ALL the time, loves her Mama (she cries when I enter the room if I don't hold her or acknowledge her), a very happy baby girl!
