Ellington - 3 months!

Ellington is 3 months (well, about 3 1/2 now) and I am long overdue an update!  Here's a quick rundown and my favorite part -- pictures of her sweet self!

• Weight: At her 3 month appointment she weighed 11 pds (and some ozs)...my guess is she's put on a couple since because she's definitely growing!
• Size: Ellie fills out a size 3 month and really is now wearing 6 months.  I cannot believe it!  Drew commented yesterday about her leg rolls!  Okay, most of you would say she doesn't have a lot of rolls but Levi NEVER had a roll at all on his legs or arms so she looks much bigger in comparison! :)
• Development: Holds her head up (yippee!) now and tries so hard to sit-up.  She coos all the time and makes the sweetest expressions.  I can tell a difference in her cries now...if she's tired, hungry, wanting attention, etc.  And she gives the biggest smile - melts our hearts!
• Sleep: No change -- she's still a good sleeper...mostly wakes once/ night around 3 am.  At that point, I put her in our bed where she sleeps until she wakes up again usually around 5.30-6 to nurse.  The plan is to transition her to her crib at 4 months but I'm not ready. :(  She's my teeny baby!
• Daycare: Going well - not complaints at all...the people that watch her send me pics because they know how much I miss her each day.
• Travel: We went to Asheville a couple weekends ago - total blast and Ellie did great the entire time!  We're camping this coming weekend with my parents so that'll be interesting! 
• Other: Levi kisses Ellie all the time - it's so precious to watch.  He loves his little baby sister and is protective of her.  He refers to her as 'his baby' to his friends at daycare. 

As for me......I am about to fly out for my first work trip and first time being away from Ellie.  I am terrified because I am just not ready.  I don't want to be away from my kids....and I am still nursing so I have to pump at the airport, the office, and transport my milk back.....the thought gives me anxiety!  Oh well - that's life.  I'll survive thanks to my amazing support system (husband, our families).  And the other tricky part about this travel....packing.  I am not back to my pre-pregnancy weight so I am having to fit back into my work clothes a little sooner than anticipated...luckily, it all still fits....but not the 'same' as before yet.  I am still working on that...but it's been MUCH MUCH MUCH harder this second time around.  Perhaps I'll do a post about that later.....now onto the pics!
