I have been so bad about pregnancy updates this time around...I guess having a full-time job, toddler, and move will do that. :) So, here's a quick recap since I've exited the 2nd trimester and entered the 3rd:
- 2nd trimester I felt great!
- My energy is good throughout the day but after Levi goes to bed I am exhausted!
- Cravings include ice coffee (decaf of course!), gummy candy (always a staple in my life!), and grapefruit juice
- No trips yet except for our move to Charlotte -- we are planning a family get-away Memorial Day weekend. Our last trip as a family of 3...I am thinking BEACH!
- Challenges include moving - it's hard to scrub floors, baseboards, etc. when you have a huge preggo belly in the way!
- I've noticed people (especially older men!) are so kind to me when I am pregnant -- this happened when I was pregnant with Levi. For example, I went to Starbuck's last Friday morning and the lady working the register said she hopes to look as good as me when she's pregnant some day, then a man waited by the door while I added cream/sugar and then held the door open for me because he noticed 'I had my hands full'. Just small things that constantly happen when I am pregnant. People can be so lovely!
- 3rd trimester has been more of a challenge (and I just entered the 3rd trimester!) -- I failed my glucose test so I head back this week for the 3-hour version. :( I was so so so so so upset. I try to workout and eat healthy so I was a tad bit shocked that I failed. I think it has to do with my age... that's just me guessing. And I've had some cramping lately...which I am sure is just my body stretching and prepping for this little girl to grow!
- We do have a name for our baby girl but we're not sharing just yet...I think it's going to be perfect!
- I am soaking up every single second with Levi. I cannot help but think about Levi's birth and life over the past 2 years. I adore that little boy more than I can ever explain. He is MY world. He is MY everything... I love him so so so so very much. And I am so excited to give him a sibling. :) A best friend through life!

I'll share an update on our house progress next time! Until then!
