Levi --- 22 months

My baby Levi is 22 months!  Time just seems to be flying by.  It seems like yesterday I was placing his monthly update stickers on his little onesie.  And now - he's 22 months!  So, here's a quick update on how Levi's been doing!

Eats: Loves pancakes, Cheezits, bananas (still his favorite!), Chic-fil-A fries, mac'n'cheese, yogurt, blueberries

Words: Now his words are starting to form phrases....a couple common ones below.

• Levi used to say 'uh oh' but that's now changed to 'Oh no', 
• 'Thank ('tank') you Mommy.  Thank ('tank') you Daddy.' ---- He always says thank you to both of us, no matter what. 
• 'Harper bite.' ---- heehee.  I have to add this.  Levi comes home from daycare and tells us that 'Harper bite'.  Of course, it doesn't mean that Harper did anything -- maybe he did.  But Levi will say that all the time.  :)
• 'Change diaper'.  When Levi poops, he'll now notify us.  It's actually convenient...and I think gets us one step closer to potty training.  I hope 'cause diapers are not cheap!
• 'More [insert food or drink of course]' - ex. More juice.
• 'Bye Bye Daddy.'  Nothing special but he does say goodbye to anyone coming or going, including the dogs.
• 'Levi Splish Splash!' -- what we call bath time. 

Favs: His new Christmas toys of course!  

• Still loves his popper and likes to act like it's a leaf blower.  We bought him a toy leaf blower for Christmas, which he likes, but it didn't replace his leaf blower. 
• Mickey Mouse -- Levi loves Mickey Mouse.  If the TV is on, he wants to watch Mickey. Actually, he doesn't really sit and watch it - he more or less just wants it on so when he acknowledges the TV, Mickey's there.  I love how he says 'Mit Mouse'...so very cute.  
• Books. Specifically, his book about Phil the Elephant,  saying hello to the animals, and a book about things that go....but the only thing he's interested in with this book is the trucks page. (Sorry, I don't know the names of any of these books...you'd think I'd have the titles memorized since I have the entire story stored in my brain!)
• Trucks. ANYTHING trucks. :)  Truck toys, real trucks driving down the road, loves construction trucks, truck books, etc. You get the point :)
• Raking -- Levi loves helping Daddy rake outside.  Or sweep. Or really do anything - as long as it's outside.  He's an outdoorsman for sure!
• Hikes.....we try to go out to Umstead State Park whenever we can for a hike.  And Levi loves being outside (of course, see above bullet) and riding on Daddy's back. He never cries or wants out of the backpack.  Most times, he falls asleep towards the end...I mean there's a babbling brook.  I could fall asleep too if Drew would carry me around. :)

Clothes: Mostly he's been in 18 - 24 months but recently we've started putting him in 2Ts.  He's growing!!!

Trips: Nothing lately.  We went home to Charlotte and Monroe for the holidays but we haven't ventured too far lately.  I think that means we need to start planning a trip! 

Coming up: Levi has been invited to 2 birthday parties this month.   In addition, he starts his first swim lessons at the Y!  Drew will be the one hopping in the pool with him....at least until I find a one-piece to cover my pale skin!
