Levi - 11 weeks

Oh how the time is flying!  Our baby boy is already 11 weeks!  He continues to be the sunshine of our lives - making us laugh and smile constantly.  Some items we'd like to share about our Levi Edison:

• He's wearing 3 month clothing now.  I put all his newborn clothes in his closet upstairs...I cannot bring myself to pack them away.
• He coo's and smiles ALL the time.  Especially in the morning.  This is our favorite time with him. We put him in the bed with us every morning now to love on him and listen to him 'talk' to us.  It's the best.
• He's been to the beach now and loved kicking the sand.  Levi's feet and hands are constantly in motion so it didn't surprise us that he would love it.
• He is now facing out in the Bob Stroller....so no more heavy car seat attached to the stroller which makes it much lighter!  I finally ran with the stroller at the beach since it's flat there and that car seat makes it so much harder!  Glad we're moving him out of that! 
• He LOVES bath time.....I think he could sit in his infant tub for hours.  He will also 'talk' after we take him out of the bath while putting lotion on him....he just loves that time at night with us (and we with him).
• We get a lot of comments like 'He looks bigger than 11 weeks'....which I don't understand b/c he really isn't that big?  But I hear that a lot.
• People say that Levi looks like Drew.....and Levi looks like me.  It depends on who you ask.  I say Drew - Drew says me....so this tells me he's a perfect mix of us! :)
• Levi's been on a boat too and loved it.  He slept the whole time....which tells me he found it relaxing.
• Levi still sleeps in his bassinet in our room...our goal is to transition him to his crib by month 4. We're waiting on him to sleep longer through the night....which he's doing much better now!  Most nights we put him down at 10 pm and he doesn't wake until 3 am and again at 6-7 am.  Not too shabby! 

That's enough for now!  This weekend we're SUPER excited because we're heading to Charlotte for a wedding and Drew's Grandma Barb will be in town visiting!  Levi gets to meet Grandma Barb!  YAY!  We can't wait!  

Aside from all of that - I love being a Mommy.  I love every second.  My life is forever changed and I woud never go back to life prior to Levi.  I've never felt more fulfilled.  And I love my husband even more now than the day I married him.  He's such an amazing Dad....and if you could see the way Levi looks at Drew!  There is a connection there and I just love it.  I am so blessed.  I love my little family.

UPDATE: Levi is also rolling onto his side now!  About a week ago I was changing him on the floor and he just rolled to his side.  I put him back to his back and he did it again....and he just did it again while I had him on the floor so I just had to update this post before I forget!
