Lights, Camera, Whaaaa???

Since our last post, several lights have arrived!  I got a lil' bonus from work and instead of buying new shoes and purses, I decided to buy lights. Yay.  This is what I've been missing out on all these years....purchasing lights....so I did what every girl would do and pick out lights that 'express' myself.

First, track lighting in the kitchen.  Simple and efficient.  Just like me.  :)  (Note: Since hanging all the lights, this one is no longer functioning - whaaa?!??!  Drrreeeeeewwwwww!!  Heeeelllllpppppp!!!)

Then I put Drew to work on the dining room...the Celeste Chandelier from Pottery Barn stands out in a room - just like me! ;) 

Then it was time to update the kitchen - where the "fan-tom" used to hang....this light reminds me of Drew.  Strong, sturdy, and smart (it's hooked up to a dimmer - smart!).

 Here's the two together.  Aren't they lovely?  Just like me and Drew.....LOVE LIGHTS!!

Here's the electrician we hired - and he's HOT!  Drew went to school for Mathematical Finance (yuck) but he could always become an electrician if counting #'s doesn't work out for him.  ha!

We also got a new rug -- wool.   I call this the Little Lamb rug.  One night I may sleep on it....it's awesome.  The rug is also from Pottery Barn - seriously if you need a rug...this is a hot little number. 

And a couple updates from the Garden of Vetter.  So, we started working on the backyard a couple weeks ago...and I, being the most AMAZING wife that I am, decided to 'rake' stuff up.  What did I rake up -- a snake.  Seriously....my 1st attempt at yard work and this is what I get.  Snakes are always hanging around 'Garden of....."....sheeesh.

 Yes, that's the snake hanging from Drew's rake.  Drew saved my life.  :)

And, recently, this cute lil' fella showed up at my door.  He loves Bob Marley and trampolines.  That's what was going on when he showed up...Marley music....and me jumping on the trampoline.  I am a kid's dream come true....thanks to my immaturity! :)

And last....what I've always wanted.  A bed with 7 more pillows than you actually need!!!
